TSN Hoops - TSN offers two games for basketball. NBA Stock Exchange - produced by RotoHog.com, this free salary cap game offers a stock market facility for buying and selling players with prices fluctuating in real time. Graduated transaction costs have the effect of imposing a cap on franchise value for astute traders. Each position slot is limited to 82 games per season, so optimal performance requires a thoughtful pace. If you don’t want to commit for a whole season, there are monthly contests with prizes. Support Sites
Doug's NBA Stats - A comprehensive set of NBA stats. Updated daily, with downloadable text files which can easily be imported into a spreadsheet. Also provides preseason stats. CBS Sportsline Stats - A well laid-out set of NBA stats. The sortable stats are listed in an easy to import, tabular format. CBS.Sportsline also provides a good source of fantasy basketball analysis. ESPN - You could have obviously found this one on your own, but how could I have a set of basketball links without it? NBA.com - The official site of the National Basketball Association. RotoTimes - A variety of team and player info, including depth charts and players notes updated daily, and links to local newspapers. Still free (as of October 2008)RotoWire - The best one-stop-shopping source of current player information available. Especially if you have a limited amount of time to keep track of your team, this is a must. No serious fantasy sports enthusiast can afford to stay away. In October, 2001, this site converted to a subscription based service. [Formerly RotoNews.] RotoWorld - A variety of team and player info, including players notes updated daily, and links to local newspapers. Still free (as of October 2008)
USA Today - another good source for a variety of news and stats. Yahoo! Sports some good sortable stats tables. Unfortunately, they stopped producing the downloadable version in early 2003. RotoGuru is produced by Dave Hall (a.k.a. the Guru), an avid fantasy sports player. He is not employed by any of the fantasy sports games discussed within this site, and all opinions expressed are solely his own.
