Message Forum Keepers

Every now and then, a message forum thread develops which is worth remembering. Especially for those Gurupies who don't regularly "camp out" at the forum, this can be a convenient place to follow the "best of breed."

I have made some limited edits to the threads - especially reducing the non-essential banter that is usually interspersed throughout - but I make no attempt to try to correct all of the spelling, grammar and punctuation. Remember that most of this is produced "on the fly", so please be tolerant when the end product lacks professional finish. These threads are saved here because the content was deemed worthy.
